About FLW Walleye Championship

This is the culminating event of four qualifying events with 300 anglers per event. The championship will host 100 anglers from the qualifying events who will compete for $675,850 in cash purses. The winner will take home a $150,000 purse. Founded in 1979, FLW Outdoors has set the standard for fishing tournaments nationwide. They are the world’s leading marketer of competitive fishing tournaments. In 2006, FLW Outdoors offered more than $37.9 million to the nation’s top anglers through 249 events in ten national fishing circuits. Fishing is the fourth most popular participation sport. It is more popular than golf or tennis combined and is topped by only walking, swimming and camping. FLW Outdoors adds NASCAR-like flair to the nation’s favorite family-oriented activity. From the South: Take I-77 North (turns into I-90 East). Exit at 174B (Route 2 West). Drive west until Edgewater Park exit.

From the West: Take I-90 East to exit 174B (Route 2 West). Drive west until Edgewater Park exit.

Boat & Event Parking

Directions to West Stadium Lot
(Boat Yard - Tournament Wednesday - Friday)

From the East: Take I-90 West to Route 2 and exit at West 3rd Street. Turn right at top of ramp. Parking lot is on the left.

From the South: Take I-77 North (turns into I-90 East). Exit at 174B (Route 2 West). Drive west until West 3rd Street exit. Turn right at top of ramp. Parking lot is on the left.

From the West: Take I-90 East to exit 174B (Route 2 West). Drive west until West 3rd Street exit. Turn right at top of ramp. Parking lot is on the left.

Directions to Port of Cleveland Parking

From the East: Take I-90 West to the East 9th Street exit. Turn right at top of ramp to Erieside Avenue (in front of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum) and turn left. Follow the street to the right until it stops at the Port of Cleveland. Port lot will be in front of you; Science Center lot will be on the right, and turn left to West 3rd lot.

From the South: Take I-77 North. Get off at the East 9th Street exit and make a right onto Orange Avenue. At the first light, make another right onto East 9th Street and follow same directions as above.

From the West: Take I-90 East to the 9th Street exit. Follow the curve to 9th Street and follow it towards Lake Erie. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and follow the street until it stops at the Port of Cleveland. Port lot will be in front of you; Science Center lot will be on the right, and turn left to West 3rd lot.

Directions to the City of Cleveland and Municipal Parking Lot

From the South: Take I-77 North. Get off at the East 9th Street exit and make a right onto Orange Avenue. At the first light, make another right onto East 9th Street. Continue to East 9th Street all the way towards Lake Erie. When you pass Lakeside Avenue, get into the right lane. Get off at the Route 2 East (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) Exit. The first exit of Route 2 East will be the City of Cleveland Municipal Parking lot. Or Take I-71 North I-90 East and get off at the East 9th Street Exit. Continue on East 9th Street towards Lake Erie. When you pass Lakeside Avenue, get into the right lane. Get off at the Route 2 East (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) exit. The first exit on Route 2 will be the City of Cleveland Municipal Parking lot.

From the East: Take I-90 West. Exit at East 55th Street and make a left onto East 55th. Take East 55th Street to South Marginal Road. Make a right onto South Marginal Road. Continue on South Marginal Road. City of Cleveland Municipal Parking lot will be on your right.

From the West: Take I-90 East and exit at East 9th Street. Continue on East 9th Street toward Lake Erie. When you pass Lakeside Avenue, get into the right lane. Get off at the Route 2 East (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) Exit. The first exit on Route 2 East will be the City of Cleveland Municipal Parking Lot.

Public Transportation
RTA Waterfront Line
